From Coollege we want to join in the famous celebration of #BillsMafiaDay in Spanish Bowl with the publication of two special “Traditions and Mascots”, related to two of the most decisive sports props of the current Buffalo Bills: Devin Singletary and Josh Allen.

One of the most beautiful and recognizable logos in the nation is the image of a rider, decked out in University of Wyoming colors, trying to tame a runaway horse. This symbol has been part of the University of Wyoming Athletics Department since the early 1920s. Deane Hunton managed to take a photo of the famous local cowboy, Guy Holt, as he tried to ride the world’s most famous rodeo horse, the wild Steamboat. Hunton turned this mythical photograph into the university’s logo.

The popular fight song of the University of Wyoming sports teams is the famous Ragtime Cowboy Joe. This song is played by the University of Wyoming Marching Band as the football team takes the field at War Memorial Stadium, when a home touchdown or a real big play occurs, and ignites the fervor of the Cowboy Joe crowd. Students and fans (the so-called Cowboys & Cowgirls) sing a capella this traditional hymn after every team victory.

The judge has filed the complaint against Wyoming and Dani Mateo for the joke about the Valley of the Fallen.    The magistrate considers that the sketch of ‘El Intermedio’ does not constitute a crime against religious feelings.

Regarding the context, the judge has qualified that “it should not be forgotten that the speech has a marked satirical character within a humorous program about current news”, concluding that “satire, by itself, is not prohibited”.

The sketch, broadcast on May 10, 2016, for which they felt offended was the following: “The Valley of the Fallen, houses the largest Christian Cross in the world, with two hundred thousand tons of weight and one hundred and fifty meters high, three times the height of the tower of Pisa. And that’s because Franco wanted that Cross to be seen from far away, normal, because who is going to want to see that shit up close”.

Dani Mateo and Wyoming, once they testified before the judge, said that “incitement to hatred is that there is a site in homage to the victors. Incitement to hatred is that there are corpses in the ditches”, and they denounced that “one of the most serious events we are living is that every day fresh flowers are placed on Franco’s grave”.

The “uncoded date” (use of a calendar date) is primarily found on the packaging of perishable foods, such as meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products. The “date coded” may appear on long-life products, such as cans and food cartons.

However, if foods are not handled properly, foodborne bacteria can grow and cause foodborne illness before or after the date on the package. For example, if foods that require refrigeration are taken to a picnic and left out for several hours, they may no longer be safe to eat afterwards, even if the date has not expired.

Colorado company hires immigrants for coal mining jobs

The purpose of coal mining is to obtain coal and sometimes other resources from the ground. Coal is valued for its energy content and, since the 1880s, has been widely used to generate electricity. The steel and cement industries use coal as a fuel for the extraction of iron from rocks and ores and for cement production.

The oldest continuously worked deep mine in the UK is the Tower Colliery in the South Wales Valleys in the heart of the South Wales coalfields. This mining was developed in 1805, and its miners bought it at the end of the 20th century, to prevent its closure. The mining tower finally closed on January 25, 2008, although there is production generated at Aberpergwm drift mine, owned by Walter Energy.

Coal was mined in America in the early 18th century and commercial mining began around 1730 in Midlothian, Virginia. [3] At the beginning of the 19th century, mining began in the south of Chile, in the Province of Concepción, and then, in 1849, the largest commercial coal exploitation in that country took place in the Arauco coal basin, where a group of mining towns such as Coronel, Lota, Lebu and Curanilahue were built, where the main inventions of the time arrived (steam engines, railroads, electricity, among others).
